As one chapter of a book ends another one opens, so is it at the Whitewater Hang Gliding Club! On December 12, 2009, the WWHGC had its last meeting for 2009 and we had quite the turnout. We had members as far away as South Dakota show up to help support the club and give their votes – thank you to all for your support!
Our last meeting took place at Karina’s Mexican Restaurant, starting at 2pm and finally concluded at 7pm when Geo, Stan, Tom, Wayne, and I walked out. Mark and Janice brought dessert and passed around homemade candy (made by Janice). Everyone enjoyed a brunch style dinner, and, as always, Paul delighted us with some entertainment by playing a slide show composition of photos collected over the past 12 months.
The meeting covered numerous topics, which will be posted in the member’s only area, and we voted on new club officers. Our new club officers (servants) are:
